Few Words About Myself Nice to Meet You
Hi there, nice of you to drop by.
I’m Alex and it’s always a pleasure to meet new people. I’d love to get to know you but, for a start, let me tell you a few things about myself.
At a very young age I found myself attracted by plastic arts. Drawing since three, I showed a continuous interest in improving my work that lead my parents sending me to the local arts school, at the age of 11, where I studied and corrected my artistic skills.
I have done it all, from clay modeling, portraits, design to painting on glass, wood and canvas. Flirting with photography was basically inevitable; I remember my grandmother buying me a camera with film, I was about 13. Managed then to 
convince my parents for an upgrade (Fujifilm A800, 8.3 mega pixels) and the rest is history.
Graduated “Vespasian Lungu” art school in 2005 but swapped to a different field, studying geology at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași and obtained an engineer`s degree back in 2009.
Career took me on different roles and swapped various companies but one thing I didn’t change – love for photography.
I never stopped improving this love therefore, decided to enroll a professional course. Happy to say I was one of Dan Malureanu`s students and I am thankful for all of what he thought me. Completed his class in 2015 where I immediately start working as a photographer in various European countries. Since 2017 I have settled in Prague, Czech Republic.

Behind the scenes Photo Processing
Some may say it`s a push of a button, select a preset and the work is done – frame is ready for to be delivered. Wouldn’t that be great!
In generally, I spend from 15 minutes to sometimes hours editing in different software till the final result. It starts from lighting and contrast control, editing colors, background, unwanted objects to shape changes, body editing to effects creation. We are not counting here the +16 years learning the software, so no, it is not easy but thinking in the end that you love what you do, time spent on processing is nevertheless a creation one.
I have attached a small example where it`s easier to compare the raw and edited photograph. The only retouching here was improving color brightness, edit contrast, adding back-light and filling up shadow:

I recommend Alex as a photographer for his professionalism and his social skills (friendliness). Although my husband is quite an introvertive person, Alex made him feel quite comfortable with the photo session. Also, he is very creative, and he has a lot of great ideas which you can apply in your photo shoot. In our case, I was very surprised to get a document with all the ideas to be applied in our photo shoot, including possible multiple locations, what to wear, and (and here I got struck by the level of preparation) the weather forecast in details of the evening of the event + a Pinterest board with all kind of ideas. I enjoyed the photo shoot a lot, it was a lot of fun for me and, when the occasion would arrive again, I would totally book Alex again!
